It is the quartz that then gives granite the beautiful and hardness look.
Granite is formed at huge depths and under extreme pressures from cooled magma. 3. Wood Worktops

They need to be oiled and kept dry as watermarks will stain the wood if not treated and cleaned. Especially around a sink area. 4. Laminate Wood
Laminate wood is an affordable and straightforward worktop that is very durable and easy to clean. It is often a good choice as it is not too pricey and an ideal choice for busy kitchens. Laminate can come in a range of colours and styles to suit your kitchen. The texture of the laminate is smooth and nice to touch. It often brings a lovely warm colour to the room and works well with many colours especially white cabinetry. Wood laminate is not for everyone and you need to be aware of putting hot pans on the sides or it can mark.
